Making some hosting changes this weekend. Site may be down briefly or some domain weirdness may ensue. Mail shouldn't be affected, assuming I don't fat-finger any of the DNS stuff, since I'm not actually hosting my mail on the VPSes.
@tychoish Thanks much for the offer! So far, I'm finding Linode to be a piece of cake. Looks like everything transferred over correctly. Just want to give it a day or two more to download all my old stuff to a local backup & then turn off the old VPS.

when I made a similar sort of switch, it was *surprisingly* less stressful than I thought it would be. Just ask if you need anything.
