Here's another phrase that's a major pet peeve -- "future plans." Okay, if you're planning something, it is by definition in the future. Unless you're writing a script for Doctor Who, you don't make plans for the past or the present -- you make plans for the future so saying "future plans" is wholly redundant. [...]
