Gmail has been behaving exceptionally well the last few weeks, until today -- I've been getting "operation cannot be completed" errors for about 20 minutes. Anyone else seeing this?
Wow. This is bad. I'm in Berlin and this is NOT a good way to suddenly realize how critical communication through gmail has become to my processes -- haven't been able to connect to gmail for about an hour now (hadn't tried for several hours before that - no idea how long it's been down, but it's been down *solid* for the last hour).
I totally agree. While I understand that Gmail is a free service, users can't afford to go without email for hours. Sometimes, even a few minutes might make the difference between being able to do your job or not.
Google really ought to introduce a paid service with the same kind of guaranteed uptimes for its regular Gmail service instead of requiring users to sign up for the Google Apps service with a domain and whatnot.

No. Tried the basic no-ajax version?
Yeah, still getting the server error. In fact, it's gotten worse since I posted this.
Haven't been able to get to Gmail reliably for several hours.
Yes, I was typing an email and hit the "Check Spelling " link. It just hung. I tried to start over and now I can't get in.
I checked google's blogsearch to see if anyone was blogging about this and found you.

UGH!
I've been getting the "Server Error" message for several hours now.
Very frustrating - I feel like I've lost my connection to the outside world!
